Review: Slipstream
Let’s here it for Anthony Hopkins: The Movie, ladies and gentleman! I was very mildy entertained and tried not making sense of it just so I could watch it until the end. Not a good movie. I thought the acting was good, though. It’s a movie of moments. Like the scene in the diner with Christian Slater. That was amazing. Made me want to watch Invasion of the Body Snatchers. And this other scene in the beginning where a guy gets pissed while in traffic and starts screaming “We’ve lost the plot!!” (or something like that) and starts shooting people. I think the movie is most enjoyable when it goes meta. And even then it’s pretty contrived. I guess the music was good. I was surprised to learn that Hopkins also scored the movie. The music wasn’t anything special, I just didn’t know that Hopkins had anything musical in him.
Anyways.
Don’t watch the movie. Watch the moments. On Youtube. Or something. I don’t know.
